This week on Bottom of the Stream we are popping Adam’s anime cherry as we talk about 2016 Japanese movie and Nick’s wildcard choice: “Gantz:O”. This is an ultra violent; ultra stylised; sci-fi animation, pitting a team of previously deceased citizens against an invading force of aliens (not monsters) in near future Osaka. If that sentence isn’t enough to sell you on this episode then we also have a round up of Netflix news, some nerdy statistics and talk about what we have been watching at the top of the stream. We have the usual weekly trivia battle and Adam ponders a return to watching movies in an actual, real life cinema.
